A. Accounting\/Finance The ICS function is in charge of recording mutual aid agreements.<\/p>\n
The first responder to an incident should establish the Initial Incident Command Post, which is the IC’s vehicle and identifiable by a flag, light, or another identifiable marking. The IC can then order additional resources and establish new ICS<\/a> organizational elements as new responders arrive.<\/span><\/p>\n Mutual aid requests are formally authorized by the Emergency Co-Managers and coordinated by the Logistics Section Chief. Once authorization is obtained, the Operations Group evaluates the situation, identifies expected needs and recovery operations, and establishes contingencies. They also develop plans to return to normal University operations, prepare documentation for financial reimbursement, and participate in post-mortem debriefing meetings.<\/span><\/p>\n Mutual aid agreements are a form of cooperation among different nations that require documentation. Documentation of these agreements is the responsibility of the ICS’s Finance\/Administration division. The agreement is a contract between two or more nations that agree to share resources and manpower in the event of a disaster. It also provides information about the situation in the affected country and outlines the required steps and resources.<\/span><\/p>\n A mutual aid agreement is a contract between two or more public agencies that specify how they will help each other and often includes provisions for reimbursement. Mutual aid agreements are an important tool for emergency preparedness. The agreements should be in place when two or more agencies share responsibilities for a certain highway. In addition, they are a good idea for agencies to enter into agreements with neighboring jurisdictions.<\/span><\/p>\n Documentation of the mutual aid agreement is vital to the planning and response process. The ICS should have standardized position titles, facility names, and procedures for contacting each other. This will facilitate better information flow and better coordination between different agencies.
